Lula Y. Ashman, age 80, of Amelia passed from this life on Nov. 6, 2010 after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease. She is survived by her daughter Barbara A. Maitland (Randolph) and son George M. Ashman (Janet); grandchildren Laurie M. Mullins (Seth), George M. Ashman III (Tonya)and David A. Ashman (Ashley); and great-grandchildren Emily Ashman, Logan Ashman and Reid Maitland, sister, Peggy Munden, brothers, Talmadge Yeatts (Mary), Jesse Yeatts (Joyce) . A Graveside service was held today November 8, 2010 at Grub Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Grub Hill Cemetery Fund c/o Eddie Ashman, 12690 N. Lodore Rd., Amelia, VA 23002.
