Marcenia Jo Grady, age 84, of Amelia, VA, passed from this life on July 26, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack W. Grady, and her son Jimmy Skeens,  and is survived by her children, Kathy McAvoy, Mickey Skeens, Sue Collins, David Skeens, Eddie Skeens, Greg Skeens, Carol Castle and Jennifer Bell; twenty grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; her half brothers Robert Sexton, Junior Sexton, and Pete Sexton. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 30, at Mattoax Presbyterian Cemetery in Amelia. Visiting at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia on Thursday from 4-7:30 p.m.
