Margaret Ellen Borthwick Chase, 77, of Glen Allen, Va., passed away August 13, 2019 in Amelia Court House, Va.  Margaret is survived by her daughters, Kimberly and Gail, step-son Bernd, step-daughter Ute, grandsons, Brandon, William and Jacob, great grandson Liam, brothers, Robert (Deborah), Gilbert (Marilyn) and Arnold (Sharon), and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Borthwick and Mary Nichols Borthwick Slavin and step-father Thomas Slavin.  A gathering to celebrate Margaret's life will be announced at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to her beloved American Heart Association.
