Margaret G. Eanes, of Amelia, devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother joined the Lord on Wednesday October 1, 2008. She was born February 16, 1928 in Richmond, VA, the daughter of the late Harry R. Grubb and Annie Rodwell Grubb. She was preceded in death September 24, 2008 by her husband Harold A. Eanes, Sr. She is survived by one son, Daniel R. Webster (wife Katie); three daughters Cynthia W Carden (husband Harry), Sharon W. Hancock (husband Deppe), and Sylvia D. Dierson (husband Glenn); nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four step children, seven step grandchildren and one great step grandson. Mom, Moggs, Suga designed and remodeled eighteen houses to make them homes, farmed her land, was devoted to her church and family and was loved by many friends. She was passionate about her country and a dieheart Democrat. She overcame many hurdles in her life. Her determination and strength has been and is an inspiration to all who knew her. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Sunday October 5, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Mattoax Presbyterian Church, 14600 Chula Rd, Amelia, VA. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Mattoax Presbyterian Church.
