It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret Pike, who departed from this life on January 6, 2025, at the home of her caregivers Tori and Ryan Atkins, in Amelia Court House, Virginia. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion after her long journey that included the profound loss of her beloved husband just one year ago. Margaret was a beacon of strength for her family, particularly her daughters, Diane Little (Billy) and Janet Kantzler (Bill), and her son, Gary Pike (Wanda). She was blessed to be the grandmother of eight grandchildren: Kelly Easter, Frankie Williams, Scott Pike, Nicholas Pike, Bill Kantzer, Tabitha Hooper, Wendy Martin, and Kimberly Martin, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. She also leaves behind her devoted sister, Jean Davis of Blacksburg. She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Preston Pike and her parents Clyde Witt and Reba Overstreet Witt. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Tori and Ryan Atkins and Judy Gibson, for the love they have shown to Margaret in her last days. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Margaret and to celebrate her life at Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 AM. Margaret's spirit will be laid to rest at a location that is dear to her family. As we reflect on the cherished moments and the indelible mark she made on our lives, we honor her memory with gratitude and love. May she rest in peace, surrounded by eternal light and the love of those who have gone before her.
