Obituary

Margie Lynch Pegram, age 64, of Chesterfield, VA, entered into eternal rest to finally be face to face with the Lord God, who is Creator of all heaven and Earth. Praise be to God, the Father! She gladly served and loved her Lord faithfully since age 10. She was born November 18, 1961, the daughter of the late Russel Thomas Lynch and Pauline Barden Lynch of Amelia. She was predeceased by her sister Katrina L. Virostek. She is survived by her sisters Sarah L. Fulk and Frances S. Lynch. She leaves behind her devoted and loving husband of 42 years, John Carter Pegram, to cherish memories of their life together and her precious children whom she loved and adored, Benjamin Alexander Pegram and his wife Kimberly Vann Pegram, Andrew Carter Pegram and his wife Sara Wilson Pegram, and Rachel Anne Elizabeth Keaton and her husband David Matthew Keaton. She also leaves behind her grandchildren that she loved so very much and saw them as a great gift from our Heavenly Father. They are Bryson Camp Pegram, Anna Lucille and Daniel Wilson Pegram, and Syrena Robin, David Alexander, and Jackson Carter Keaton. She was a loving aunt and great aunt. Margie loved being a Sunday School teacher and was blessed by her church family who were also very faithful friends. Margie wishes that all those that loved her and were blessed by her spirit be joyful and celebrate all the good memories of her life. She loved all the laughter and smiles from each of you. Please do not mourn her death – it was only a passageway into her promised reward called Heaven for all eternity. She looked forward to and welcomed this moment. A peace filled eternity worshipping our Lord Jesus Christ was something that Margie anticipated for most of her life. She would like to thank all those that were gracious to her and showed their love through their many kindnesses. The family will receive friends and family at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home on 05/29/26 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Memorial/Life Celebration service will be held at Union Baptist Church on 05/30/26 at 11:00 AM with graveside services to follow. In lieu of flowers, Margie’s wish is that you give in her memory to: Parkway Baptist Church, Lonesome Dove Equestrian Center (Veteran Therapeutic Riding), Noble Warriors (Men’s Ministries), or Camp Alkulana (Baptist Camp for inner city children).
