Marian Metzger Hirsh, age 90, of Amelia, Va. and Florida passed from this life on July 20, 2021.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hirsh, her parents; William D. and Marian Kemmett Averell, and is survived by her son; Edward (Dee) Metzger of Amelia,  and her daughter; Leslie (Kurt) Bowden of Long Island, N. Y. Also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.   Funeral services will be held on Thursday 7:30PM at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St in Amelia with interment following on Friday July 23, at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery 10300 Pridesville Rd. in Amelia, Va. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral on Thursday beginning at 6PM.
