Marjorie Carter Stevens, age 97, of Keysville, Va., formerly of Amelia passed from this life on Feb. 15, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Hardy Stevens and her son Larry Emmitt Stevens, and her brothers, Harold Carter, Sr., William Carter, and sister, Dorothy Weddle, and is survived by her sons, William Charles Stevens of Keysville, Va., and Hartold Ray Stevens of Leland, N. C.,. and sister, Francis Thomas of Chesterfield, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.  Graveside services will be held at 1PM on Tuesday Feb. 20, 2018 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens on Patterson Ave. in Richmond, Va.  The family will receive friends on Monday Feb. 19, at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St in Amelia from 6:00-8:00PM.  Condolences at www.hillsmanhix.com
