Easter Martha C.,  age 88, of Amelia, passed from this life on Oct. 6, 2017.  She is survived by her daughter; Patsy Moorefield (Wyatt) of Midlothian; son Roy E. (Diane)Easter of Amelia; preceded in death by her husband Corbin L. and her daughter Linda Duncan ;also surviving  her  grandchildren, Chris Duncan of Amelia and Tom Duncan of Radford and Anna Screeney of Henrico and Daniel Easter, of Amelia, Chuck Moorefield of Winston-Salem and Lori Dean of Chesterfield; and  great-grandchildren, Cody, Lexi, Corbin Dean, Abby and Cole Duncan, Josh and Ellie Moorefield, Grayson Screeney,  and her brother George Campbell of Henrico.  Martha retired from GBC after many years of employment, and life time member of the VFW Auxiliary in Amelia, and a  member of the James Allen Chapter of the DAR. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Salem United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation from 7-8:30 on Monday, October 9 at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  Contributions to Salem United Methodist Church or the Amelia Fire Dept.
