Mary B. (Boyd) Hastings, age 90, of Richmond passed from this life on January 5, 2017.  She is preceded in death by her husband James Milton Hastings and her parents Alex and Elizabeth Parish Boyd, brothers, Alex and Bernard Boyd and is survived by her sisters, Bernice Davis of Alabama and Doris Bates of Nottoway County and her brother Melvin (Fred) Boyd of Moseley.  Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday January 9, 2017  at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with interment following in the Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home Monday 6-8PM.
