Mary Louella Borders, 80, went to be with her heavenly father and many loved ones on January 3, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Zelma Golden and brother Curtis Golden, and daughter Sandra Faye and infant daughter.  Surviving children are, John E Mathews, Jr (Jackie), Goldie Mathews, Charles Mathews; Surviving siblings are Arnold Golden (Carolyn), Louise Atkins, Lewis Golden (Brenda), Shirley Easter (Robert),  also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.   Louella retired from the Amelia Dress Factory. She spent many hours making beautiful quilts, participated in many craft shows, enjoyed reading, gardening, puzzles, but mostly loved dancing!!!  Louella was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church for many years.  Viewing on Monday, January 7 from 10:00 - 12:00 am, at Salem United Methodist Church, with funeral service beginning at 12Noon interment will follow in the church cemetery,  A reception will follow the burial in the church.
