Mary Belle Kennedy, age 79, of Amelia, passed away on August 5, 2014.  She is survived by her husband Bobby Kennedy, son Mark Anthony Kennedy (Patricia) of Prospect, daughter Karen Kennedy Cooley (Charles) of Charlotte, NC, brother George B. Pigg Jr. of Burkeville, and sisters Nancy Bell-Strole (Dennis) of Amelia, Louise Boettcher (Lewis) of Drakes Branch, and Georgia Mae Lewis (Bud) of Kenbridge.  Viewing at 12 noon on Friday, August 8 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 25450 E. Saylers Creek Rd. in Jetersville. Funeral services are set to begin at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
