Mary A. Pope, age 89, of Richmond formerly of Chesterfield, passed away on September 20, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Pope and son Joseph Michael Pope and is survived by her sons John S. Pope of IL, Louis A. Pope of MD and Patrick Pope of Richmond; daughter Marian Hunter of Midlothian; grandchildren Candice, Shannon, Daniel, Patrick, Mary, Kelly, Stephen, Maureen, Michael K. and Michael J.; and seven great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Secular Order of Carmelite. A Catholic Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday September 24 at Church of the Epiphany with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday September 23 from 7-9:00 p.m. at Church of the Epiphany.
