Mary Lynch Puett, age 69, of Amelia, passed away on August 5, 2012.  She is survived by her sons, Frank T. Woodel and Walter E. Woodel, both of Powhatan, William J. Woodel of Chesterfield, Steven R. Foster of Amelia; daughters Brenda Hastings, Faye Hall, and Darlene Toone, all of Amelia, and Lisa M. Trent of Colonial Heights; brother Robert Lynch of Burkeville; sisters Sylvia Lloyd of Burkeville and Vivian Woodel of Pamplin; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Earlie Lynch and Mildred, sisters Peggy Weaver and Janie Clarke, and brother Wayne Lynch.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 7 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  A chapel service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 8, 2012 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Rennie Memorial Cemetery.
