IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Edyth
(Robinson) Terry
October 31, 1922 – February 20, 2014
Mary Edyth Robinson Terry of Amelia VA passed away on February 20, 2014. Mary was born on October 31, 1922 to Wilson Giles Robinson and Bertha Holder Robinson, and was always humorously proud to be an "Old Witch" on Halloween. Married to Thomas Franklin Terry of Amelia, she was predeceased by him and her son Donald of Amelia. She is survived by son David of Powhatan VA (wife Susan B. and Mary's grandsons Scott and Michael), son Dale of Suffolk VA (wife Susan A. Terry and Mary's grandsons Frank and David) and daughter-in-law Marsha. She was very proud of them all and of her great-granddaughters Paige, Emma, Spencer and Leah. A voracious reader and avid learner, she enjoyed those and a love of flowers to the end. The family would like to thank Ginny Evans and especially April Easter for their kind and compassionate care. Visitation will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 22 at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home in Amelia with the funeral held at 2:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Little Flock Baptist Church in Amelia.
