Mary Virginia Saxtan, age 84, of Jetersville, VA passed from this life on July 27, 2011. She is survived by her son, Harold A. Saxtan, III of Farmville, daughters, Sandra McMillen of Fincastle, VA, and Hilda Virginia Jones of Indiana, sisters, Margaret Pettirossi of Sudley, VA, Laura Deems of Dinwiddie, Annie Mae Baird of Blacksburg, and Thelma Lampkin of North Carolina, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11AM on Monday August 1, 2011 at Jetersville United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visiting at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St in Amelia from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday July 31, 2011.
