Molene A. Molly Moyer, age 88, of Amelia, passed from this life on August 13, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, of 65 years Leonard R. Moyer, and sister, Ruth Talbot, and is survived by her daughter, Russell M. Reid of Richmond, her brother, Robert Arrington of Amelia, sisters, Bernice Mizell Clermont, Fla., Alice Burnett of Colonial Heights, and Jo Painter of Bedford, Va., two grandchildren, Max Reid of Auckland, New Zealand, Nate Reid of Alexandria, and four great grandchildren, Eric, Alex, Carter, and Ben. Funeral service 11AM on Wednesday August 17, 2011 at the Amelia Presbyterian Church with burial in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery. Visiting at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral 16409 Court St. in Amelia from 6:00-8:00PM on Tuesday. Contributions may be made to the Amelia Historical Society.
