Myrtle Jeannette Spainhour, age 90, of Crewe, formerly of Amelia, passed from this life on March 30, 2020.  She is preceded in death by her husband; Lester Franklin Spainhour, her daughters, Sandra Marie Cawley and Linda Irwin, and is survived by her son; Robert Worth Spainhour of South Hill, VA; daughters, Nancy Lee Skinner of Blackstone, and Virginia Carol Duty of Goochland,  ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildlren.  Private visitation will be held on Friday April 3, 2020 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home with private burial at the Simonton Family Cemetery in Amelia.  Please sign our guestbook at www.hillsmanhix.com in lieu of signing the book at the funeral home.
