Nelson G. Pruitt Sr., age 83, of Crewe, passed away at his home on March 22, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Marie Pruitt and his daughter Nikki Pruitt.  He is survived by his son Nelson Pruitt Jr. "Bo"(Emily), of Amelia; granddaughter Candie Whitus and great-granddaughter Kinsleigh Whitus; brother Larry Pruitt of Blairs, VA; sisters Amy Cole of Richmond, VA, Alice (Charlie) Ashworth of Gretna, VA.  Nelson was the  owner of Kleen Chemical Co. of Crewe, VA.  Interment will be private and a memorial service will be scheduled for a future date.
