Ollie Elizabeth Dodson, age 96, of Amelia, Va. passed away peacefully on September 12, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Charles E. Dodson.  She is survived by her son John Charles Dodson and his wife Robin, her daughter Pauline Hillsman, grandsons; Amos G. Dodson and his wife Megan, John E.B. Hillsman, great grandson; Nathan O. Hillsman and her brother A.J. Easter and sister-in-law Pat, as well as 13 loving nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 6 - 8pm.  The funeral service will be held at Mattoax Presbyterian Church on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2pm with interment to follow at Mattoax Cemetery.  Contributions in memory of Ollie may be made to the Amelia County Garden Club, P.O. Box 453, Amelia, Va. 23002.  The family extends heartfelt thanks to Jane and Tony Easter and their dedicated staff.
