Phillip E. Evans, age 59, of Amelia, passed from this life on January 26, 2016.  He is preceded by his father Robert L. Evans and sisters Linda Lunsford and Kathryn L. Rose and is survived by his children, Phillip II.,  Corey Evans, Lorie Jones, his mother, Irma Sue Evans, sister Gloria Wright (Glenn) all of Amelia, and his brother Ricky Evans of Chesterfield.  Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with private interment to follow.  Visiting at the funeral home Thursday 6-8PM.
