Quantry Cabel Pembelton

Quantry Cabel Pembelton,III , "Q.C." completed his earthly journey February 18, 2026. He was born in Southside Community Hospital, Farmville, Virginia January 14, 1964.

Q. C. was preceded in death by his parents, Quantry Cabel Pembelton, Jr. and Lois Overby Pembelton. He is survived by his daughter, Morgan P. McMillian and sisters Janet P. Joyce (Tucker), Beverly P. Dunnavant and Fay P. Booth (Henry). He has seven nieces and nephews. Special childhood friends that remained loyal and supportive throughout his life are Danny Brown, Melissa Brown and Jaime Spainhour. Neighbors, Lolly Martin, Lucky Jefferson, Jr. and Diamond Jefferson, always offered a helping hand. His beloved dog, Khan, was a constant companion and source of comfort. Q. C. attended Amelia Academy, graduated from Amelia County High School and attended Old Dominion University. He absorbed knowledge quickly and enjoyed spirited debates with family and friends. He was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. Q. C. had a soft heart for stray animals and many found permanent homes with him. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March, 7 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
