Ralph Louis Poe, age 73, of Amelia passed from this life on April 9, 2012. Preceded in death by his mother and father, William and Annie Hodge Poe, and is survived by his sons, Ralph Lewis Poe, Jr. and Terry W. Poe and his brother, William Carl Poe all of Amelia, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Private funeral arrangements are planned later in the week when he will be buried in Union Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements by the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home of Amelia.
