Rebecca Easter Denny, age 83 of Hopewell, passed away on November 14, 2017.  She was predeceased by her children Dana Simonsen and Bruce Denny.  She is survived by her husband Randall Denny; son Scott Denny of Hopewell; grandchildren Dustin Walker of Dinwiddie, Austin Simonsen of Prince George, Kelci Simonsen of Richmond, Randy Denny of Hopewell and Josephine Denny of Richmond along with three great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends on Sunday November 19 from 1-3:00 p.m. at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  A graveside service is set for 11:00 a.m. on Monday November 20 at Moore's Methodist Cemetery in Amelia.
