Rebecca "Page" Wilkerson, 82, passed away surrounded by love on July 23rd. Page was born on August 18, 1943, in Crewe, Virginia. She was the oldest of six siblings, with four sisters and one brother. At 19 years old, she married the love of her life, James Luther Wilkerson. They shared 53 years of marriage before his passing in 2015. Together, they built a life and raised their son, James Luther Wilkerson Jr., and their daughter, Laura. Their journey together took them from Amelia, Virginia, to Richmond, Virginia, and eventually to Alexandria, Virginia. Page dedicated 25 years of service to Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria before retiring in 2013. She was known for her hard work, kindness, and compassion. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose love knew no bounds. She is survived by her son, James Luther Wilkerson Jr.; her daughter, Laura Lamb (Colin); her grandchildren, Justin Wilkerson (Cami), Brandon Wilkerson, and Morgan Page Lamb (Brandon C.); along with her siblings, extended family members, and dear friends. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Page would tell you she was one of the kindest and most loving women they had ever met. She lived her life putting others before herself, and her love for her family was evident in everything she did. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten by all who knew her.
