Reese Southall Wingo, age 78, of Jetersville, VA, passed from this life on Thursday, March 31, 2016.  Born November 12, 1937 in Jetersville to Stephen O. and Fern P. Southall, Reese retired after 33 years as a state employee, working at Piedmont Geriatric Hospital and the Virginia State Police Department.  She was predeceased by her husband, Richard B. (Buck) Wingo.  She leaves to mourn her passing her sister and brother-in-law, Fern and Robert Lane, of Rockville, VA; her nephew, Alvin Wingo, who was like a son, and his wife,Tammy, and their children, in addition to many other nieces and nephews and special caregivers.  Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, at Hillman-Hix Funeral Home located at 16409 Court St in Amelia VA.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, at Sandy Creek Baptist Church,  25450 E. Saylers Creek Rd Jetersville VA.
