Richard A. Johns, III, age 68, of Amelia, passed away on May 12, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard A. Johns Jr. and Irene Bosely Johns. He is survived by his wife Vicki; son Jason Covington of Farmville; aunts Marion Engelstadt and Ann Cassidy, and two loving pets, Rooster and Bandit. The family will receive friends on Friday May 13 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St., Amelia and where services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 14, with burial to follow at Jamestown Presbyterian Cemetery Rice, Va.
