Richard N. Nash, age 83 of Crewe, VA, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 5, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Nash and Mildred Morris, and is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Edith, children Cheryl Hair (Jay) of Powhatan, Wanda Putney (Doug) of Chesterfield, Richard Lee Nash (Ellen) of Caroline, VA, sister Betty Franck Davis of Richmond; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Richard was an avid fisherman, crabber, and hunter. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tues October 11 at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St in Amelia. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. at Dale Memorial Park in Chesterfield. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral beginning at 12 noon.
