Celebration of Life for Ricky Bartley Ricky Bartley, age 66, a proud resident of Amelia Court House, VA, who was born on December 4, 1957,to John Edgar Bartley, Sr. and Mabel Kennedy Bartley, passed away on October 3, 2024, surrounded by his family. Known for his love of hunting and farming, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Ricky found joy in the simple things in life, often spending his days out in the fields, tinkering with his beloved tractors, or riding his motorcycle. Survived by his loving wife Linda Bartley, his children Josh, Nicholas (Samantha), and Breanna Bartley, as well as his cherished grandchildren Easton and Waylon, Ricky's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him best. He is also survived by his siblings Audrey, John, Joan, Peggy, Fred, and Emma, who will always treasure the moments they shared with him. A gathering to celebrate Ricky's life will be held from 3-5:00 P.M. on Sunday October 6, at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. A service will be held at 5:00 p.m. to share stories, laughter, and memories of a man who brought light into the lives of those around him, and he will be laid to rest at the Bartley Family Cemetery in a private service. Ricky Bartley's legacy of hard work, passion for the outdoors, and dedication to his family will always be remembered. His spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him, leaving behind a lasting imprint on the hearts of many. Rest in peace, Ricky Bartley.
