Robert "Bobby" Hawkes, age 87, of Powhatan formerly of Amelia passed from this life on April 2, 2017.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Adell Lampman Hawkes, and is survived by his daughters, Regina S. Mahoney of KS, Dale Lynn Hawkes of Williamsburg, and Cheryl Anne Hawkes of Powhatan, and four grandchildren.  Funeral services  2PM on Wednesday at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with private interment.  Visiting at the funeral home  Tues  evening from 6-8PM.
