Robert D. Martin, age 85, of Amelia, passed from this life on April 5, 2015.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Jean W. Martin, and is survived by his sons, Michael of Henrico, and Daren of Missouri, three brothers, Lee Martin of Atlanta, Marion Martin of Charlottesville, and Al Martin of Goochland, one grandchild and three great grandchildren.  Mr. Martin was retired farmer and cabinet maker in Amelia.  Funeral services 1PM on Friday April 10, 2015 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial in the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.   Visiting at the funeral home Thurs. 6-8PM.
