Robert P. Shoop, age 78, of Amelia, abandoned this earthly ship on November 23, 2009. He is survived by Erma, his wife of 52 years; children Mike, Tammy, Juanita, Kenny, Dwayne and their spouses; brothers Ed and Ronny; ten grandchildren and one great grandson. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 29 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home in Amelia. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 30 at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
