Robert E. Swisher III, age 68, of Amelia passed on Dec. 14, 2012.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Shelby, and is survived by his daughter and son, Barbara Osterman and Ronald Anderson both of Amelia, his mother, Cary Swisher and brother Johnny Swisher both of Richmond, and sister Linda Thomas of Newport News, and one grandchild.  Funeral services 11AM on Tuesday at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial following in Washington Memorial Cemetery Sandston, Va. at 1PM.  Visiting at the funeral home Monday 6-8PM.
