Obituary for Robert Hector VanDenBrouck
Robert Hector VanDenBrouck passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of devotion to family, service, and community. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Ann VanDenBrouck, and his second wife, Jane Marie VanDenBrouck. Robert is survived by his children and their families: His son Robert (Shannon) VanDenBrouck, and grandchildren Elissa (Jesse), Collin (Brittany), Arianna (Jack), and Jadon (Brittany); His son Michael VanDenBrouck; His son Ronald VanDenBrouck, and grandchildren Gibson and Bryson; His daughter Valerie (Jon) Ellyson, and grandchildren Jessica (Brad), AJ, and Carson; His daughter Pamela (Mike) Gonzales, and grandchildren Kurtis, Lucas (Hannah), Sierra, Bryson, and Nathaniel. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Becky VanDenBrouck and son-in-law Kevin Moore. Robert was a proud great-grandfather to Lilly, Cole, Maggie, Karter, Liam, Emerson, Ewan, and Kaylee, each of whom brought him great joy. He served honorably in the United States Army, was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, and retired from the Ford Motor Company after many years of dedicated service. Robert also served his community as Treasurer of the Lake Nepessing Lake Association. He was deeply respected and incredibly loved by those who knew him, and his impact on his community will long be remembered. A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ Family Outreach Church, 12300 Five Forks Road, Amelia, VA 23002, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a reception. Robert's life was one of service, faith, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
