Rodger Alan Barnard, age 59, of Amelia, passed from this life on Sept. 7, 2015.  He is preceded in death by his father, John Barnard and sister, Margaret Barnard Moyer and is survived by his daughter Angel Barnard and step daughter, Jessica Cheely, and his brothers, John, and Andrew both of Amelia, and Kenneth of Richmond, sister, Darlene Farrow of Goochland and his mother, Christine Smith Barnard Peters of Goochland.  Funeral services 2PM on Wednesday Sept. 9, 2015 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court ST. in Amelia with burial following the service in Pine Grove Cemetery in Amelia.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12Noon on Wed.  Condolences at www.hillsmanhix.com
