Longtime Glenview, Illinois resident Ronald Kozemczak died peacefully on January 28, 2023 in Richmond, Virginia. Ron is survived by his daughter Jeanine Kromer, son Gary Kozemczak and their mom Joanne Paveglio, grandson Kalvin Kromer, and granddaughter Maizie Kromer. Ronald was born in Chicago to Daniel and Anne Kozemczak and was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Kozemzak and his sister Jeanine Lemajeur. Ron was an avid Chicago sports fan who grew up on Chicago's Northwest Side and attended Taft High School. He then enrolled at Coe College where he played baseball and football and met his future wife Joanne. He went on to obtain a Master's degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University. Ron worked as teacher and coach at South Shore and Fenger High Schools on the South Side of Chicago. A funeral mass in Ron's memory will be held on Saturday, February 24, at 11am at St.Gabriel's Catholic Church in Chesterfield, Virginia. The service will be followed by an informal gathering at daughter Jeanine's house in Midlothian, Virginia.
