Ronald Lee "Wolf" Shank, age 61, of Richmond, formerly of Amelia, left his den on June 19, 2012 to be with his many friends and family with our Lord in Heaven.  He is preceded in death by his father David Elliott "Pop" Shank, his brother Kenneth Wayne Shank, both of Amelia, his dog, Tasha ("BooBoo").  He is survived by his daugher Brittany Lynn Shank of Farmville, his son Cole Anthony Banks of Richmond, his mother Ruth Lee "Mom' Shank, his brother Jerry David Shank (Betty), his sister Marjorie Ann "Margie" Lynn (Wayne) all of Amelia, his brother Gary Martin "Buck" Shank (Lisa) of  Cape Coral, Florida, his best friend and companion Sherri Lynn Banks of Richmond, a close friend Sharon Dempsey, eight nieces and nephews, and many good friends.  Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday June 30th 2012 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court Street in Amelia.  Interment was private.  Visitation will be Friday June 29, 2012 at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00PM.
