Ronald Wayne Waldrop, age 59, of Alexandria, Va. passed from this life on August 10, 2017.  He is survived by his mother; Betty Mae Dowdy Waldrop, his sisters, Jackie Carpenter of Alexandria, Terri Hicks of Middleburg, Fla., and Patricia Jerman of Alexandria, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Ronald was an inspector for Fairfax County.  Graveside services will be held at 2PM on Tuesday August 15, at Lakeview Cemetery in Blackstone, Va.  Visiting at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St in Amelia, Va. on Monday from 6PM until 9PM.  Condolences at www.hillsmanhix.com .  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Ronnie's cousin, Johnny Buckner's GoFundMe account to help pay his medical bills and mortgage while he continues to undergo chemotherapy. https://www.gofundme.com/johnny-buckner-cancer-patient
