Rossana Frances Eckert, age 55, of Amelia, passed from this life on August 26, 2016.  She is survived by her husband,of 27 years,  Herbert P. Eckert III, and her fuzzy babies, Odie, Rusty and Grumpy, also survived by her father, Brooks Stalnaker, and her sister Dianna Dyer of Florida.  Rossana was a licensed optician for over 30 years. She was a loving, caring and special person to all who knew her.  She loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed working with tools.  Services and interment are private for the convenience of the family.  The family will make an announcement later for a private interment of her ashes.
