JONES, Rovena Llewellyn, 90, of Midlothian, Virginia, died December 15, 2023. She is survived by her children, Don Jones Jr. (Rhonda) of Orange, Bruce Jones (Christy) of Amelia, Diane Langston (Jay) of Fulks Run, Jenette Lineberger of Midlothian, and Jim Jones (Lori) of North Chesterfield. She is also survived by her brother Sam Llewellyn of Amelia; ten grandchildren: Bobby (Savannah), Matt, Barry (Melissa), Daniel, Ashley (Kaitlyn), David, Candler, Aaron, Brett (Kali), and Colin (Samantha); and nine great-grandchildren: Tristen, Liam, Kailyn, Hayden, Jeremy, Jacob, Bryce, Hayden, and Reagan. Rovena was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Donald Ray Jones; her parents Jimmie and Nettie Llewellyn; her brother James Llewellyn Jr., her sister June Smith; and her son-in-law Pete Lineberger. Rovena was a life-long member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Amelia. She was a graduate of Amelia High School and a 1954 graduate of the Johnston-Willis School of Nursing. Visitation will be on Tuesday December 19th from 4-7:00 pm at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Wednesday December 20th, at Epworth United Methodist Church, 15941 S. Giles Road, Amelia, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, at the address listed.
