Roy "David" Gunter Jr. born March 11, 1963, passed away in Amelia, Virginia on January 27, 2025. David is survived by his parents: Barbara and Roy Gunter, his sister Melissa Coleman, (David), nephew Royce Coleman and niece Gillian Coleman. In life, David was a master carpenter, lifelong racing enthusiast, and loved to fish. He also enjoyed gardening and caring for his animals. Most of all, David valued family and visiting with people. David never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His life was one of perseverance and in his passing, he has finally found peace. Thanks to all who loved and understood him. He was a beloved soul who will be dearly missed. The family will receive visitors Sunday, February 2, from 2-4 pm at the home of Barbara and Roy Gunter, 8020 South Amelia Avenue, Amelia, Virginia.
