Roy Green Hardy, Jr., age 70 of Blackstone, passed away on February 25, 2019.  He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Green Hardy, Sr., and is  survived by his wife Lynn Dawson Hardy; sons Samuel James Hardy(Jennifer Tabor)  and David Adam Hardy, both of Nottoway, Vincent Greer Hardy and Matthew Green Hardy both of CT; his mother Delores Hardy ; sister Sheila Hardy Pollard  both of Amelia; brother James Emmett Hardy of Powhatan, and six grandchildren Noah, Hunter, Faith, Autumn, Kristen and Megan .  Roy was a home builder in the Central Virginia area for years.
