Russell Junior Turner, age 86, of Amelia, passed away on July 26, 2015.  He is survived by his wife Ora Jane, son Richard Alan Turner of FL; grandchildren Lucas Turner of MD, Jenifer Dunford (Marty) of Amelia, Richard Alan Turner Jr. (Shelly) of Dinwiddie and Alana Turner of FL; step-grandchildren Timothy and Ayrron; and great-granchildren Chase, Kara, Michelle and Clayton.  The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday July 28 at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  A chapel service is set for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
