Ruth Martin Kidd, 100, of Amelia passed away on December 12, 2019. Ruth was retired from the Amelia Dress Company and was a faithful member of Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter Brenda K. Staylor of Crewe, daughter-in-law Judy P. Kidd (Chesterfield) a brother, David Martin (North Carolina); seven grandchildren Sharon S. Cromer (Tommy), Cindy S. Church (Jeff), Anthony T. Staylor (Heather), Stephanie K. Hudson (Ronald),  Beth K. Abbott (Todd), Terry V. Kidd and Robert H. Staylor, Jr. (Melanie) ten great grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Robert Kidd and son Boyd (Bob) I. Kidd. The family would like to express extreme gratitude to the staff of Wellspring at Amelia for their loving care of Ruth. Funeral services 12:00 PM on Saturday, at the Little Flock Baptist Church 5201 Little Flock Church Ln, Amelia, VA with burial following at Little Flock Cemetery in Amelia.
