Sadie Marion Chumney of Amelia, entered into eternal rest on March 4, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Glenn Chumney. She is survived by her daughters Susan Kerr (Tommy) of Amelia, Eddie Jo Keough (Steve) of Powhatan, and Glenda Cochran (Tony) of Amelia; Five grandchildren Shannon Bowers (Greg), Paula Keough, Patrick Keough, Brandon Cochran and Justin Cochran; Brothers Jim Marion of Bumpass and Hubert Marion of Charlotte; Devoted Sisters-in-law Anne Chumney (Kathy) of Amelia and Eleanor Marion of Cumberland. Visitation will be Friday, March 7 from 6-8PM  at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court Street, Amelia, Virginia. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 8 at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Mattoax Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mattoax Presbyterian Church, the Amelia Volunteer Fire Department or A.P.A.W.
