Obituary

Samuel Vance Bruno Llewellyn, age 88, of Jetersville, passed away on January 14, 2011. A Navy Veteran, he retired from Overnite Trans. and C & L Welding and was a past Master of The Amelia Lodge 101AFAM, a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Vivian and is survived by his second wife Edith and her family; sons Robert and wife Nancy, and Kenneth Sr.; daughter Patricia Johnson and husband Red, all of Jetersville; brothers Harvey and wife Stella of Amelia and Clyde and wife Sandy of Louisa; sister Nelia Jenkins of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Sherri Warren, Anita Williamson, Kenneth Jr., Matthew and Leslie Lathdrop, Angela Phillips and Michael Kirkland; and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation on Sunday from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia with a Masonic Service at 6 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Sandy Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow at Union Baptist Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Union Baptist Church or Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
