Sandra Wickham Harris, 76, of Amelia Courthouse went to be with the Lord peacefully at her home that she has shared with her husband Jerry Harris, on May 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a battle with dementia. Sandra was born to Raymond and Hazel Wickham on May 22, 1950 in Richmond, Virginia. She was a member of Arbor Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school to the youth, and volunteered for vacation bible school. She worked as a lien officer at Suntrust Bank before retiring so she could go on the next adventure with her husband and family. She was an avid reader, Oliver Twist was her favorite book, and was often times caught up in her arts and crafts. She loved her cats Ziggy, Little Bit and Fuzzy. Her family was the most important thing to her and she spent a lot of time with and loved them immensely. Sandra was preceded in death by both parents, 1 brother, Ernie Wickham, 1 sister, Jackie Dunford, and her niece Nicole Harris. She will be greatly missed by those left to live without her on Earth. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Harris of 27 years, her children Bert Talbott (Terry) of Varina, VA, Stefan Talbott (Barbara) of Mechanicsville, VA, Luke Talbott of Mechanicsville, VA, and Michale Busick (Rob) of Stuarts Draft, VA. She had 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Carolyn Dowdy and Tammy Wickham, 1 brother in law, Tony Harris (Trish), and 2 sister in laws Pam Amos and Barbara Martin, and several neices and nephews. There will be a service at 12 pm on June 11, 2026 at Hillsman-Hix funeral home with a graveside service to follow at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
