Sandra D. Thompson, age 69, of Jetersville, Va., passed from this life on August 24, 2016.  She is survived by her husband, Charles Cooper Thompson, Jr. , and her brother, Johnny Peavy of Enoree, South Carolina. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday August 29, 2016 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia, Va.. with interment following at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00PM.
