Sanford W. Worsham, age 71. of Charlotte C. H., Va., passed from this life on June 14, 2015.  He is survived by his wife of 50 yrs. Freda and is survived by his sons, Devron of Colorado, Justin (Cassie) of South Boston, his daughters, Dagny Meadows (Parker) of Richmond, Monica Barnes (Michael) of Suffolk, and Shawna Taylor (Jim) of Drewryville, Va., eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, brothers, Herman  of Richmond, Duncan of Asheville, sisters, Barbara Jean Toone of Clarkesville, and Sylvia Traylor of Richmond.  Predeceased by his parents, Herman and Eileen Worsham and brother, William.  Funeral services  June 17, 2015 at  1:00  PM at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with interment following in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Worsham was retired from the USN as a commissaryman of Vietnam War era and was a resident of Charlotte County for over 20yrs and previously resided in Suffolk, Va.  He was employed prior to retirement with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was a retired driver with UPS.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11am.  Condolences at www.hillsmanhix.com
