Scarlett B. McHenry, age 65, of Amelia, passed from this life on July 13, 2014.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Deck and Florence Carper Boyles and her sister, Sandra Dandridge.  She is survived by her lifelong friend Stanley Poore; her sons, Timothy (Kathy) of Cumberland, and Gary (Caren) Allen of South Carolina, brothers, Randy Boyles, David Boyles, sisters, Pat Giella and Cathy Redman all of Amelia.  Her grandchildren, Michael, Justin, Jonathan, and Stephen Allen, Dakota Timberlake, and Brett McHenry.  A memorial service will be held on Sat. July 26, 2014 at 7:00PM at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with interment private.  The family will receive friends from 6PM until time of service at the funeral home.
